Unauthorized Trading

Many investors do not know that, barring a signed agreement giving a broker discretion to trade in your account, the law requires that a broker MUST get PRIOR verbal specific authorization from YOU before he can execute any transaction in your account.

Many brokers buy and sell whenever they feel like it. This is illegal and may create a claim for damages.
